Formerly known as the Star, was brought back to life after a disastrous fire a few years when it could quite easily been lost to housing. Now a successful Village pub with an Island wide reputation for food, with a separate restaurant where bookings may be taken, to pub meals with an interesting and varied menu. Beers may vary, but you will usually find an Island brew. A recent innovation has been meal deals, see the board, you may find a bargain.
