GODSHILL

PUB PAGE

Renowned Olde World village, full of gnomes, souvenirs, and tea gardens. The addition of an upmarket shop and restaurant to the huge free car park is a tourist trap. The model village is well worth a visit. The church dominates the landscape for miles around; the area alongside has fared rather better than the rest of the village, and can be found adorning many a chocolate box.

Tasteful and sympathetic conversion and expansion of an old cottage, abounding with beams and flagstones. Difficult to see the join between the old part and the new. Accent on food; the comfortable bar is sandwiched between restaurant areas, but is none the worse for that. Excellent large outdoor play area for kids.

Splendid stone build village pub of some character. Originally a 17th century coaching inn. Good views from the garden and you will be amazed at what’s growing in it.
