EAST COWES

PUB PAGE

Small industrial town across the river from West Cowes, whose most notable feature is the huge Union Jack on the G.K.N. Hanger, and the ferry terminal. It has its own marina up the river and several local pubs. Osborne House, once the home of Queen Victoria is open to the public during the summer.

Two bar town local with friendly atmosphere. Conveniently placed for the first or last drink on the Island (the ferry is only 30 metres away). Good selection of country wines, but keep an eye open for the alleged ghost in the lounge bar.
