The Vine Inn is more than a hundred years old and is situated opposite the Village Green where there is a children's playground and ample free public parking space.
The pub was refurbished in 2004 to provide a light and airy, yet cosy open plan drinking and dining area with a well stocked bar, pool table and dart boards.
Families are very welcome and baby changing facilities are available.
Homecooked food is served seven days a week with OAP specials Monday to Friday lunchtimes as well as Curry nights and Steak nights throughout the winter months.
There are always at least four real ales on offer from breweries all over the country, and there is an annual beer festival over the August bank holiday weekend.
The Vine Inn has been selected to feature in The Good Beer Guide 2008.
There is live music every Friday night and a fun quiz every Sunday night.
