Description:

A Bohemian Bar and eatery which opened November 2013 in premises that have been a sadlers and bakery with hand crafted seating and intimate lounge on the first floor which is available for private hire. Entertainment most nights provided by DJs. Currently no real ale. Valentine Gray was an apprentice chimney sweep who died in tragic circumstances at the age of 10 in 1822. He is immortalized by a monument erected to him not a 100 yards from the pub. It was his death that prompted the Climbing Boys Act and resulted in his employer and his wife being imprisoned for manslaughter.
