Opening Times:

Situated opposite the turning to Colwell Bay, the pub has been in existence for over 200 years and was originally called the Drum and Monkey, then the Nelson. It is believed that Lord Nelson stayed here under guard on his way to London to answer charges of not following rules of engagement in naval encounters with French forces - hence the name. The pub was the coastguard's barracks for some years.
